Jaxson Dart 2025 Fantasy Football Profile

Jaxson Dart was chosen in the 1st round in the 2025 NFL Draft by the New York Giants. After being in the consensus of the QB3 in this class, he turned out to be the QB2. It’s apparent that Dart will be the QB of the future for the New York Giants.

While the team itself is still lacking in talent, let’s look into Jaxson Dart’s fantasy football profile for the 2025 year for re-draft leagues and dynasty leagues.

Re-Draft:

There’s not a lot to say about Dart for re-draft leagues. For some reason, Russell Wilson has been named the starting QB for the Giants without competition. While I am more on the side that rookie QB should sit a year, I’m not sure the Giants rolling out Wilson will be their best course of action.

Unless Wilson is playing horribly or gets injured, I don’t see Dart getting much action this year. Even if that does happen, you’re looking at more of the end of the season and/or fantasy playoffs. The good thing is that he should be on the waiver wire when you decide you want him at the end of the season.

Dynasty:

This is where Dart has a lot more value. Even though he most likely won’t be playing this year, he is a great stash or use of a taxi cab in your fantasy leagues. There are some promising weapons on the Giants roster that Dart can grow with and they can build on.

Most of the Giants’ weapons are young and will be beneficial for the Giants and Dart as they grow to their potential. Malik Nabers, Wan’Dale Robinson, Tyrone Tracy Jr., Cam Skattebo, and Theo Johnson. All of them are young talents and Malik Nabers is already getting star recognition.

Quarterbacks are valuable in fantasy, I would use a top 10 pick on Dart, preferably 6-10 range. If you didn’t get him, I would scout him out right before your trade deadline in your league and try to buy low on him then. People don’t like pieces just to be on the roster and not produce, so you may find someone antsy enough to move him.
