D’Andre Swift has quickly emerged as the Eagles’ best running back. Of course, you knew that was going to happen unless you’re a dope like Matthew Berry. Don’t worry, the review on the Matthew Berry Challenge will come after the fantasy playoffs and it’s going to be hilarious!
Swift was a huge value to any fantasy football owner that drafted him this year. The former Georgia product would have been an even bigger league winner if several rushing touchdowns hadn’t been snipped by the tush push.
It’s something that Jason Kelce recently spoke about on his New Heights podcast. The Eagles center essentially said that he genuinely feels bad that Swift’s touchdowns are being stolen by the best quarterback sneak that the game has ever seen.
“Every time D’Andre Swift gets tackled at the 1, I just look at him at the huddle and I’m like, ‘sorry man,’” Kelce joked on the latest New Heights podcast. “You know exactly what we’re about to do.”
“Go down at the 2 or get into the end zone, don’t go down at the 1,” Kelce laughed. “Because it is 100 percent the next play we’re running. If you go down at the 2, we’ll probably run inside zone again.”
On the season, Swift has five rushing touchdowns. He would probably have at least five more if the tush push didn’t steal so many. Jalen Hurts has 15 rushing touchdowns for the Eagles. Plenty of which coming on the tush push.
