VSM is producing a new college football show this year called ‘Leave my Saturdays Alone’. Right now that show stinks and it’s a far cry from what’s produced on Hard Locks. Hopefully, we can improve upon the Wikipedia page status that it holds right now and it goes beyond the topic I’m about to talk about today. If you’re criticizing Shedeur Sanders for dissing the handshake line… do better.
Here is the link to the last episode. It starts at the 20-minute mark.
I think the part I’m the most disappointed in is the fact that the “king” of trash talk couldn’t even bring his normal A-game to the table.
WTF are we doing here?
A: How are we evaluating a QB’s NFL future based on the fact that he wouldn’t shake hands with an opposing player?
B: I wouldn’t have shaken Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi’s hand either. Shedeur did what everyone with a sense of pride would have done.
Can we actually set the stage on the timeline of events?
This is what happened before the game.
This is what happened after the game.
“After the game, I said something to the Colorado State quarterback because he was talking crazy on social media, and he was really doing it for the clicks,” Sanders said. “I said what I had to say to him because he wasn’t telling the truth in anything he was saying. It felt like a lot of hate, to me, personally.”
Sorry, not sorry, but this is the last thing we should care about when evaluating Shedeur Sanders the player. If anything, he had every right to diss the CSU QB. Also, he shook hands with every other player on the CSU team.
Better yet, I can promise you if these two knuckleheads were dropped in the same spot, they would have reacted the same way Shedeur did. We are more than our thoughts. Put our bias to the side and let’s be real about what actually happened here. That’s all the really needs to be said.
