Deshaun Watson is not happy in Houston, and has requested to be traded from the Texans, so what will that mean for their stock price on SimBull?
In case you didn’t know, Vendetta and SimBull have partnered up to help our readers earn some cash while flexing their sports knowledge. If you believe in a team, you can buy their simstock and watch their price rise as the team does well, and you can also earn dividends when your team wins games.
SimBull tweeted some of the simstock price increases that happened after off-season transactions and roster changes. I understand that these prices are extremely volatile, but it is interesting to think about what the change would be like if Deshaun Watson joined a team.
Dak Prescott coming to an agreement with the Cowboys made the SimCowboys go up over 13%. He was already on the team! There were some rumors of Prescott possibly leaving Dallas, but the team didn’t do anything else other then bring back the SAME quarterback.
Matthew Stafford made the SimRams go up 15%, and that makes a lot more sense then the Dak gains. Stafford is joining a competent franchise with a great head coach, so if Deshaun joins a team with half of what the Rams have, their simstock may go up close to 20%.
Deshaun Watson has potential to be a top 5 quarterback in the league if he has the right situation around him. We have seen what he is capable of with the Texans, and the incompetent coaching of Bill O’Brien, so if he ends up with a team with some pieces already in place, he could be worth a 20%-22% simstock increase.
Note: I am not a financial advisor. I am just speculating based on the information SimBull has provided and my knowledge of the NFL and stocks.
TL//DR: Deshaun Watson could be worth a 20% increase on SimBull.
