How does Brandon Miller not know who Khris Middleton is?

In a video that surfaced on Twitter, Charlotte Hornets rookie forward Brandon Miller didn’t realize who Bucks forward Khris Middleton was. But how? Is he a casual NBA fan? Let’s take a look.

Miller is off to a mediocre start in the NBA on and off the court so far. Miller came into the Summer League with high expectations, but quickly laid an egg in his first two games. However, Miller would soon find his game, igniting for 26 points in a contest against the Portland Trail Blazers. Even before his on-court struggles, Miller gave us more wild moments that you wouldn’t believe.

This year’s second overall pick said Paul George of the Los Angeles Clippers is the GOAT. I love the idea of claiming your own player you look up to, but Paul George as the greatest of all time? Really? I would respect Miller saying Michael Jordan or LeBron James, but Paul George? I’m baffled.

Only four days after, Miller proclaimed that Paul George was the GOAT, he would say that the Charlotte Hornets would make the 2024 NBA Finals. Now Brandon, again, I love the confidence and doing something different, but really? I know a player isn’t going to say that their team will just lay down and suck all season, but your team, out of any team in the NBA, just won’t win anything.

After all his antics from before, Miller did a TikTok trend that was released on Twitter earlier of him picking a randomized lineup of five NBA players. In doing so, Miller landed on Khris Middleton and Isaiah Hartenstein. I get not knowing Hartenstein, but Middleton? He’s one of the best small forwards in league. He’s a three time NBA All-Star and an NBA champion, have a little bit of respect Miller.
