How Did AFC Richmond Steal Alphonso Davies?
The Champions League Title is officially a go! Did anybody see that offseason we just put together? I am the master of the FIFA transfer system. I don’t think I’ve ever cheesed the system more than I did in the latest episode of the AFC Richmond FIFA 23 career mode series (link attached above ^). Alphonso Davies is coming and we got him for a fraction of what he was worth.
You saw that correctly. Alphonso Davies for $41 million when he’s worth way over $100. How bout the agent playing ball too? That part was just so awesome. Think about that. Davies took a pay cut to leave Manchester United and join AFC Richmond in the career mode.
I still don’t know how we did it. It got me thinking that I’m for sure going to try to rob Man U again. I’m feeling one of their centerbacks but that’s a job for another episode. For now, Piero Hincapie moves to CB while Alphonso Davies takes over the left back spot. With the way Ridle Baku and Sam Obisanya can move around, we have so much positional versatility to this squad that it’s crazy.
The push to win the Champions League is so on. Alphonso Davies is such a tank covering ground. Words can’t describe how big of an upgrade this is. Think about this! We got more money for Callum Hudson-Odoi then we gave up for Davies. Checkmate! Ted Lasso is hungry! Season three is coming soon and we’re hopeful a lot of hardware is in our future.
