Hockey Guy Trey Goes For Fantasy Glory: 2021 Round 1, Day 6

Barring the most unlikeliest of comebacks, Icing Daubert will move on to the Semi Finals. It was a massacre on Saturday. We have built upwards of a 30 point lead to essentially close this puppy out.

After Friday, I was actually nervous. Today the anxiety has been flushed. Thank god too because I would have been a nervous wreck at my fantasy football draft tomorrow.

You get a point! You get a point! You get a point! My Saturday night was a lot like looking at a baseball lineup card and noticing we scored 1,000 runs and virtually everyone got a hit.

Thank god assists count the same number of points as goals. Sebastian Aho got two assists, Vincent Trocheck got one, Jason Robertson got one, Quinn Hughes got one, Mat Barzal got one, and Bo Horvat got two.

The goals today included William Karlsson (but that was basically voided by the Jonathan Marchessault assist), Tyler Toffoli, and Evander Kane.

Of course, the big Viking himself Robin Lehner continues to come up clutch. CARTER HART YOU CAN’T HURT ME ANYMORE! Vegas is just calling me. I’m telling you. There’s something about it that’s calling me.

One more day to go. Tomorrow I have my fantasy football draft so I’ll be busy but I have a special blog planned once we get ready for the victory formation.
