Giannis Antetokounmpo Drafts Four NBA Players for Hypothetical Gorilla Fight
Could 100 people defeat a silverback gorilla in hand-to-hand combat? This debate took Twitter by storm last month, with plenty of good points made by both sides. Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo recently named the four NBA players he would want by his side in a hypothetical gorilla fight.
Giannis would team up with Steven Adams, Ivica Zubac, Zach Edey, and Nikola Jokic.
The strategy is pretty obvious here. With no weapons available, Giannis is going for pure size and strength to take down the gorilla. While I do have serious doubts about the ability of any five human beings to defeat a gorilla without any weapons, this is probably the best way to go about it. Love that five different countries are represented, too. I almost believe this 1,337-pound multinational coalition is making it out of that jungle.
Jokic Bros. Enter the Chat?
Giannis’ dream team also allows for a very good secondary strategy. If the gorilla takes out Nikola Jokic, you likely have the Jokic Brothers seeking retribution, and I trust those guys to get the job done.
You’re telling me these guys haven’t brawled with a gorilla just for the sport of it? The original debate was 100 people versus a gorilla, but maybe we should change it to the Jokic Bros. versus 100 gorillas. I’m probably taking the Serbians in that one.
