Gallery: A Look at the Upcoming Fallout Series 

Fallout is a huge video game franchise developed by Interplay Entertainment and published by Bethesda Softworks. Fans of the enormous gaming series have enjoyed great content since 1997 as the game’s popularity continues to grow. Furthermore, the post-apocalyptic action role-playing game has made its way into popular culture so much so that fans are getting a Fallout series on Amazon.

Excitement is building around the project as fans got to see some photos of the set. This is fresh news surrounding the franchise since fans found out Fallout 5 was confirmed back in June 2022.

Amazon bought the rights to do a live-action project based on the Fallout series back in 2020. Now, the show has writers, developers, and showrunners that have been working on the series for two years. Fans do not have to worry about the Fallout show losing the same tone and atmosphere of the video games as Bethesda Game Studios producer Todd Howard is attached to the project. Howard was the game director for multiple Fallout entries and is now listed as an executive producer for the show. 

This is a good sign as he should be able to help give input on the show and keep the feeling of the video games alive in it. However, it appears the Amazon series is already on the right track as the pictures of the set seem very similar to the setting of the game. Fans were excited to see the iconic vault as well as a lot of its familiar furnishings and decorations.

More Information On The Fallout Series

The Fallout franchise spans many years over the multiple entries in the series. However, it would appear that the Amazon series is going to take place in 2077 after a nuclear war that reflected the fears of Americans in the 1940s. 

Fallout 5 Confirmed To Be On The Way

Actors have also begun to be cast in the series as actor Walton Goggins and actress Ella Purnell are expected to have major roles. Finally, the show is expected to be released on Amazon video at some point in mid to late 2023.
