Gabe Vincent Signs With The Los Angeles Lakers

Gabe Vincent has signed a contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. This was first reported by Shams on Twitter.

Gabe Vincent has signed a three-year, $33 million contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. Vincent has played for the Miami Heat the last 4 seasons. He has steadily improved each year with the Heat and helped them reach the 2023 NBA Finals against the Nuggets. He posted a 9.4 PPG on 40.2% shooting, 2.5 APG, and 2.1 RPG stat line for the Heat last year.

Gabe Vincent, 26, has an opportunity to be a vital player for the Lakers this year. He has improved every year that he was in the league. While the Lakers made the Western Conference Finals, they are still improving to try to win another championship with LeBron James.

Vincent should have a bigger role for the Lakers as the Lakers lost Dennis Schroder to the Raptors. D’Angelo Russell, Lonnie Walker, and Malik Beasley’s status are up in the air for the Lakers. Gabe Vincent could come in and make an impact for the Lakers as he did for the Heat.

The deal is a great one for the Lakers as well. It is a low-risk, high-reward deal for the Lakers. Gabe Vincent played a vital role in the Heat’s run to the NBA championship and the Lakers got him for 3 years, $11 million per year. That is a steal and a half for the Lakers. There’s not really a downside for Vincent either, he gets paid more and still has a solid chance to make a role at a championship with the idea he will play an important role in that. Let’s see how Vincent does on the Lakers during his tenure.
