Friend of Kai Cenat allegedly raped TikTok influencer Jovi Pena

Jovi Pena, a TikTok influencer, has accused Twitch streamer Kai Cenat’s friend, Djigui Seck, of raping her at a New Year’s Eve party.

On Jan. 5, after days of unsuccessful communication attempts with Cenat about who the assailant was and obtaining other information about the individual, Pena posted a thread on Twitter detailing the events of Jan. 1.

In the released screenshots that were made available, Pena made apparent attempts to contact and get support from Cenat, who in turn matched almost every text with “I’m trying to find out” and telling her not to lump him in with the alleged assailant.

According to Pena, who was invited by Cenat, she was told by the Twitch streamer to go upstairs rather than leave because she was drunk and too inebriated to drive. Jovi also reiterated that she was told it would be safe to go upstairs. After being reassured and getting confirmation, she went upstairs where she soon fell asleep.

However, she was woken up to the alleged assailant, Seck, raping her while she was sleeping. When asked as to why, he gave the response that she was in his bed.

Jovi has also made it apparent that she doesn’t blame Cenat, however, she is disappointed in his actions of seemingly protecting the assailant.

The allegations come at a poor time for the Twitch streamer as it was just announced he has a collab video with the Sidemen, a very prominent and popular UK group that is set to release Sunday. An organized “Hyde Park meetup” was also canceled by Cenat early Saturday morning.

In a Twitch stream released early on Jan. 7, Cenat responded to the allegations publicly for the first time. He began the stream stating that his sympathies are with Pena and said he does not condone any sort of sexual assault. He confirmed that Seck is a close friend but mentioned that he did not know Pena before the party, which contradicted Pena’s earlier claims. Regarding his lack of responses to Pena, Cenat said that, upon learning of the allegations, he contacted the police and his legal team immediately.
