Yes, Trey put another fake human in the coffin. You’re already here, so enjoy the story, and feel free to let your comments fly. Unlike the guy I’m about to talk about, I’m more than okay if we disagree. Just know if you take a swing at the Don, you’d better not miss.

So here’s what happened. Trey is on vacation, and I couldn’t be in a better mood. We’re riding high after the prediction came true and Mitch Marner landed in Vegas. Keep in mind, this comes on the heels of people spreading lies in the media, and none of them took accountability for being wrong.

Then I saw this tweet… and took the necessary course of action. I’m quite sure this guy has no idea who I am, but it’s a direct shot at the work we do here at Vendetta, so I responded accordingly.

Couldn’t disagree more with the guy. In fact, Golden Knights general manager said something similar and actually had the stones to call out the liars in sports media too. Again, never going to agree with this guy. This idea that under no circumstance are we allowed to say someone in this industry sucks is completely laughable.

And in reality, everyone in the space is competing with each other, whether they want to acknowledge it or not. There are only so many viewers out there, and all of them have limited time. It’s our job to direct people to the right place so people can get the best information possible. Be my guest if you want to live in Looney Tunes land and pass out cupcakes, but it’s not real life. If we’re actually being real about it, Joey’s tweet is cowardly and is the epitome of taking the path of least resistance.

I don’t know enough about Joey to confirm this, but he reeks of fake human energy. The ones who don’t have an internal monologue. Those types. I broke his programming, and it shows.

So this is what transpires next.

Joey retweets it saying something along the lines of “Watch Trey’s video! He makes great points!”. But it’s quickly deleted. I didn’t screenshot it in time, but I sent the response to Chickster. That’s about the best proof you’re going to get.

He follows me. I follow back mostly to see if he planned on messaging me. I mostly follow people back who are in the industry. I don’t really care about follow count, but what came next is hilarious.

A day or two goes by. He unfollows and removes me from being able to follow him. Total witness protection mode.

So not only is Joey a fake human, he’s also a liar.

A: Yes, I muted him afterwards because he basically muted himself. No need to waste time on a fake human who went into hiding.

B: “If there is anything I can do to help”.

1: If you’re offering to help, why did you remove me from the follow list and remove yourself?

2: WTF are you capable of helping me with? See, that’s the problem with these people. Fake energy. The first tweet was inauthentic, and so was the reply.

3: Hell of a mentor this guy is. Offers to help and then runs away? Is that real leadership?

C: We agree on nothing. It’s why this noob went into hiding.

So yeah, I guess we have another corpse to report. RIP, Joey Wright. He’s not actually dead, but his reputation in the industry sure as hell is.
