17 broken tackles against Texas A&M. 18 broken tackles against Clemson. If LaNorris actually takes strides as a passer, we’re looking at a real elite-level future franchise quarterback. Take the following footage with a grain of salt, but it sure looks like that’s exactly what happened.
Sellers has always had the pure arm power element to his game. It’s about refinement going forward. I’ll say this. Dude looks great throwing the ball, and you can tell his training has paid dividends.
Sellers, 19, tops my way too early QB list for next year. It’s entirely possible he stays in school next year. Technically, he can stay in school another three years if he wants to. I understand that’s not a common take across the industry. I would just advise you on whom to trust because I’m telling you this right now. The high end of how this Sellers thing turns out, nobody across the sport has more upside.
So yes, I’m expecting big things this year. All that really needs to be seen is the strides taken as a passer. If that happens… QB1
Also, for anyone who cares, the East Carolina series for the EA Sports video game will be returning this Summer. I’m automatically inserting Sellers onto the roster prior to the start of season number one because he is ECU football. All questions regarding that will be addressed at a later date, but I did give you guys a poll to vote on…
