Doug Williams Calls Reuben Foster Domestic Violence Case ‘Small Potatoes’

It’s a shame that we don’t take domestic violence in this country seriously. There are millions of people in jail because they got caught with some harmless weed but plenty of people roaming the streets free despite the fact that they were convicted of domestic violence. All of those people are scumbags and deserve to rot in hell. What’s even sicker is the people that condone it. To no one’s surprise, the Redskins are catching heat for claiming Reuben Foster and who was just involved in another domestic violence altercation.

Redskins Vice President of Personnel, Doug Williams came out with an alarming response to the criticism:

“Oh yeah, we knew that was going to happen, and like I said, rightfully so with all the stuff that is going on in this country,” Williams said via the Washington Post. “We’ve got people who are in high, high, high, high places that have done far worse, and if you look at it realistically, they’re still up there. This is small potatoes [compared to] a lot of things out there. But at the same time it’s a big issue in America today, whether or not it’s in football, whether or not it’s in everyday life, whether or not it’s in politics, it’s out there.”

Disgusting. How does Doug Williams not get fired for this? I’ll tell you how? He works for the owner of the Washington Redskins. Dan Synder refuses to change the egregious name of his franchise that is clearly racist towards Native Americans. Reuben Foster was arrested just last week when he pushed his girlfriend and slapped her right in the face. But hey, that sounds like ‘small potatoes’ to me. You can’t make this stuff up.

Apparently beating women according to Doug Williams is no big deal so maybe someone should go beat up him. See if he likes it?
