Dick Butkus Got Verified On Twitter And It’s Amazing

Oh boy am I glad my Twitter feed got blessed this afternoon by Dick Butkus. He got verified on Twitter a couple of hours ago, and it’s been amazing ever since! It literally made my Twitter day. I knew Butkus was funny because of his various acting gigs here and there, hell my parents met the guy and have a signed jersey from when they went to Vegas, he’s a hell of a man. Him being verified on Twitter might just be the greatest thing I’ve seen today.

First off, Butkus now has his own podcast, “Butkus Beyond The Lines”. What? How did I not hear about this before? Maybe it’s because the people at Twitter were dragging their feet about verifying him (or they’re a bunch of Packers fans). Butkus rightfully called them out about it, and it’s awesome.

Shortly after, Butkus asked if he had the power to kick others off the platform due to his new status. Who did he tag in this tweet? Aaron Rodgers. Hahahaha I love this. The Bears-Packers rivalry knows no bounds and Butkus wants to kick Rodgers off of Twitter. Whether this is serious or just a jab for fun, I love it, either way, I don’t care. Now with being verified, Butkus wants his sponsorship money too.
