Dave Portnoy Feud with Kyrie Irving Reaches New Levels

Dave Portnoy has never liked Kyrie Irving. It goes back years, as Irving’s stint with the Boston Celtics only added fuel to the fire.

However, we are now in uncharted territory. Despite all of the remarks and blows from Portnoy, he got a response out of Irving. The Barstool Sports founder initially talked down on reports of Irving trying to lure LeBron James to Dallas during this offseason.

Portnoy reacted in very typical fashion:

Nine times out of 10, that’s how it goes. Portnoy fires off a round on Irving and that’s that. However, this was not one of those times. The All-Star guard clapped back with a rather ominous tone:

Make sure you’re taking care of yourself David. You can only run your mouth for so long before Karma catches up. Be well.

You’d be insane to think that Portnoy wouldn’t respond. However, it wasn’t a continuation of the war of words. He instead used a gif from the movie Kingpin in a quote Tweet. Many were quick to comment, with some saying Portnoy got his cage rattled and others declaring Kyrie took the L. See for yourself:

This is yet another chapter to a feud that will never die. In life, you will simply find people who agree to disagree. That’s true here, but there is also a whole lot more to it. Remember that Portnoy had a T-shirt made comparing Kyrie to Vladimir Putin and ISIS.

I think we will see Martians fire the death beam at the planet before Kyrie and Barstool Sports ever bury this hatchet. Does anyone else remember a previous chapter of this feud from Summer 2022?

The sky is blue, the grass is green and Dave Portnoy will never be friends with Kyrie Irving. Some things are just set in stone in this world. We didn’t need more evidence of this belonging on that list, but here you go.
