Ferguson was considered a top tier receiver out of the backfield that received draft consideration as early as the fourth round, per Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star. Eventually, the two sides agreed to a $10,000 signing bonus and a total $35,000 in guarantees (astronomically high numbers for an undrafted player).

back field . We can split him wide, we can displace himformationally . He’s a mismatch out in space. He’s gotjuice . He can go. He’s got great vision.”
