Chris Haynes just embarrassed himself as “Senior NBA Insider” as he put in his Bio on his Twitter/X Profile. It’s the first day of the NBA Free Agency for the 2025 NBA Offseason and Haynes has already embarrassed himself. How do you report a deal completely wrong on a player as a Senior NBA Insider that is reporting news? Before anyone says “Chickster, let’s see you try it, let’s see you report the news.” 1. No. 2. I don’t claim to be an Senior NBA Insider that reports the news. What a joke. I like to think I am an NBA analyst of some sort, so if you flame me for my NBA analysis on a team or player, I have to welcome that criticism.

Here’s my thing, a bunch of these fake NBA reporters (like Griffin Crest aka Toothpaste) just wait for the Shams or another big reporter to report something and report the same thing and say “sources say.” Somehow, that’s better than Chris Haynes just completely getting a deal wrong and saying that league sources tell me. How can you claim you have sources and get a deal wrong? Please get better sources if you are actually serious about this.

I would be cussing out my “source” if they just embarrassed me by feeding me fake info. This is just super unprofessional by Chris Haynes, Senior NBA Insider by the way. He deleted the tweet but luckily Matt Hanifan was able to grab a picture before he shamelessly deleted it.

While he posted the correct details and said the “Los Angeles Lakers.*” That little asterisk doesn’t make up for the fact that a professional that can’t do their job. Not even a quick apology tweet, just acting like all Senior NBA insiders do this. What happened to integrity? Do bette Chris Haynes, and get better source for the love of God.

WAIT, just got an update, here is Chris Haynes using AI on his D’Angelo Russell post that says Dalieas instead of Dallas on the photo. Check it out. Wouldn’t be surprised if he deletes this tweet as well.
