Chase Claypool is a diva according to the Steelers website and team reporter Bob Labriola.
An article was posted on Steelers.com breaking down the team position by position and when the wide receivers came around, LaBriola slipped in this.
“Claypool didn’t need very long to establish himself as a difference-maker, as a receiver capable of making plays down the field, and he was the offense’s primary deep threat throughout the season. If there was a negative, it was that it seemed as though Claypool’s diva quotient increased consistently over the course of his rookie season. Whether that turns into a problem or comes to be viewed in the future as growing pains will develop over time”.

Shit being called a diva on your own team’s website has to suck for Claypool. Keep in mind this is the team that has some of the most attention seeking players in recent NFL history.
They got JuJu Smith-Schuster, aka the Tik Tok star who had to stop dancing on logos after the team started losing. This is also the team that employed Antonio Brown who is one of the biggest divas in the NFL. The guy wouldn’t even play for the Raiders without his specific helmet. The helmet is required to protect the safety of the players.
Oh, and by the way, this is the team that has Big Ben, the guy who won’t wear a helmet while riding a motorcycle, the guy who wears a walking boot every other week, and the guy who made his own documentary to try and propel himself to comeback player of the year to lose to Alex Smith.
TL//DR: Is Chase Claypool a diva? Steelers beat reporter Bob Labriola says yes.
