CBS Should Fire JJ Watt For Having A Clam Between His Legs

CBS Sports hired JJ Watt in 2023 and we officially have enough evidence to make a verdict on this one. Watt absolutely sucks at his job and should be fired for one big reason. The guy simply doesn’t have the stones to do the job, and he admitted it.

The former Texans star defensive lineman admitted he struggles with criticizing players.

VIA an interview on the Houston Texans GOAT Talk podcast with former teammates Andre Johnson and Jonathan Joseph:

“I love still being around ball. I love being able to talk football. It would be very weird if I didn’t have some tie to the game, because I love watching it, talking about it, breaking it down,” Watt said.

“At the same time, I have a very difficult time criticizing guys because I was on the field. I know, you’ve got a guy who’s breaking down film and he’s drawing up the play and you’re like, ‘that’s not my assignment, that’s not my job,’ and you just threw all this blame on me on national TV. So I never want to be that guy, so I’m always very careful from that standpoint, but it has been really, really fun still being a part of the game.”

Sorry, not sorry, but that needs to be a fireable offense. CBS Sports pays you millions of dollars to speak about what you’re seeing happen play out on the field. If you’re not willing to do that, you shouldn’t be employed, and it’s not really arguable.

Watt essentially admitted that he’s a coward, and it can’t be argued. I don’t know how else to say it. People who aren’t willing to tell the truth because they’re scared of hurting someone’s feelings are a danger to the industry and shouldn’t be in these positions. End of story, not arguable.

Watt should be ashamed of himself and really needs to look in the mirror. If he doesn’t want to tell the truth, resign and put someone in that spot who will. It’s hard to gain any sense of credibility when the entire audience knows you’re lying to them. If Watt can’t understand that, maybe he has a sandy vag…
