Can Alex Pietrangelo Convince The Rest Of His Vegas Teammates To Skip The 4 Nations Tournament, Please?

Alex Pietrangelo opted out of the 4 Nations tournament. So did William Karlsson, but Karlsson is on injured reserve. Pietrangelo dipped while still playing heavy minutes for the Vegas Golden Knights.

Can we just have an honest conversation about this 4 Nations tournament? Nobody cares about this tournament. I’m not going to pretend this made up tournament matters. Sorry, not sorry.

Chris Bagdonas and I talk about why Pietrangelo should take things a step further. Pietrangelo needs to talk some sense into the rest of his teammates in Vegas. It makes no sense to risk a Stanley Cup run on some tournament that is totally made up and has no history behind it.

Which is more important? Winning another Stanley Cup or winning some made up tournament? Last time I checked, the Golden Knights are the ones writing the paychecks. Why not rest and heal up for another cup run. What if some sort of injury at 4 Nations tanks the season?

After Pietrangelo and Karlsson dropped out, the Golden Knights still have Jack Eichel, Noah Hanifin, Shea Theodore, Mark Stone, and Adin Hill involved in the tournament.

Eichel, Hanifin, Theodore, and Stone need to drop out immediately. Adin Hill can stay because he sucks and nobody cares if he gets exposed in this tournament. Other than that, every VGK fan is hoping an praying the rest of the invited guys drop out of this meaningless tournament.
