Calling It Now: Jim Harbaugh will be the next Denver Broncos head coach

I am ready to stake my claim as a Trey mini-me. The boss is NOTORIOUS for holding onto screenshots from a time prior and when the time comes, he is sure to let the world know he was right. Well, I have a claim I will put out there because I know it will happen: Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh will be the next head coach of the Denver Broncos. It’s the signs.

Well, Garrett, where’s the proof? Where did this come from? Harbaugh has been said to be a candidate for the coaching position, per Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. That news released Sunday, but I have had the idea before.

As you know, Michigan failed to advance to the national championship, yet again. Harbaugh is now 0-2 in the College Football Playoff, and this was their best shot of making the title game. TCU was ripe for the beating. They failed. He failed.

I am aware that their class next year is better, and J.J. McCarthy is getting there as a quarterback, but does he really want to try and do all this again, only to fail? He is going to see those dollar signs the new owners of the Broncos can throw his way and split. I wouldn’t blame him either.

When the announcement is made that Jim Harbaugh has signed a six-year deal as the next Broncos headman, I will be back to tell you that I had it right all along.
