After 11 seasons with the Washington Wizards, star guard Bradley Beal looks to be on the move in the near future. The Wizards and Beal will look for a trade partner for the three-time All-Star in hopes of shaping a new roster foundation, NBA insider Shams Charania of The Athletic first reported the news Wednesday.
Just In: The Washington Wizards and Bradley Beal will work together to find a trade for the three-time All-Star if the team elects to reset the roster in the near future, league sources tell me and @JoshuaBRobbins.

The Wizards have slowly built up a young core of Kristaps Porzingis and Kyle Kuzma. In doing so, they will look to slowly dismantle players outside of that core like Beal.
Beal carries a massive contract with the Wizards right now, as he signed a super-max extension last offseason. Beal will earn $46.7 million this upcoming season, but it will only continue to go up. In his final year of the deal, Beal has a $57.1 million player option for 2026-27.
With Beal, the Wizards have found close to zero success with the three-time All-Star. The Wizards last made the playoffs in the 2020-21 season, where they were defeated in five games against the Philadelphia 76ers. Washington last won a playoff series back in the 2016-17 season, beating the Atlanta Hawks in six games to advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
Beal has been known to be almost a pure scorer around the league in his career, averaging upwards of 31 points per game. But, last season, Beal took a hit in his scoring with Washington, averaging only 23.2 points per game on 50.6 percent shooting, the highest of his career.
Although Beal is 29-years-old, he still has a lot left in the tank for a team. Stay tuned with Vendetta for more news surrounding the former Florida Gators guard.
