Bodega Taqueria in Miami is a Hit!

Bodega sits right in the heart of South Beach, Miami, serving fresh and delicious Mexican cuisine! Recommended by a local, I knew I had to check it out the second I got to Miami. The joint is laidback, cheap, and super authentic. The second you step inside you’re hit with a waft of fresh goodness. From tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and more, Bodega sells all the Mexican food you’re craving! 

They offer a variety of taco flavors and meats that will satisfy every person’s unique taste. There are the classic tacos such as al pastor, carne asada, carnitas, and pollo asado. However, they also serve specialty flavors when you feel like switching it up! There’s crispy fish, “birria” tacos, tequila camaron, short rib, and more. All of these flavors are perfectly and authentically spicy and fresh, with their own special twist. There are also many vegetarian options for the non-meat-eaters! They sell an Impossible Chorizo flavor which is made with plant-based ingredients, and also an “Aguacate” flavor with crispy avocado, black bean refrito, potato sticks, and more. 

The tacos are perfectly tender with exquisitely fresh toppings. Each bite is delectable and filling. They’re relatively cheap, so you can buy a bunch without breaking the bank! I also got a side of queso which was equally as fresh and delicious as the toppings. It was beautifully melty and cheesy without any of that plastic-y taste!
