Bobwhite Counter is taking New York City by storm. Similar to Sweet Chick, It’s a fried chicken joint with sandwiches, salads, wraps, desserts and more. It’s perfect for this time when chicken caesar salad wraps and fried chicken are trending!
There are four locations in New York City and will probably be more with time to come. They have spots in Avenue C, Jersey City, Union Square and Long Island City. This makes it perfect for anyone in the city or outside of the city to get their hands on some Bobwhite fried chicken!
Their menu consists of sandwiches, tenders, salads, wraps, biscuits, sides, sauces and sweet treats. Their sandwiches range from your classic spicy chicken sandwich, to buffalo chicken, BBQ chicken and more. The salads have many options such as kale and quinoa, caesar salad and zesty sesame.
For the wraps, they have the iconic chicken caesar wrap as well as a buffalo chicken wrap and kale and quinoa wrap. They also have a hefty selection of delicious sides! They have great options such as blackeyed peas and collard greens, coleslaw, mac and cheese, pimento cheese dip and fries!
Bobwhite Counter deserves all the hype. Their sandwiches are zesty and flavorful. The chicken is perfectly cooked and moist. The breading has a good spice that’s not too intense. The mac and cheese is creamy and cooked well! It’s not too mushy and has a good bite. The cheese also makes a good bite as well as it being sharp and fresh. The buffalo and ranch sauces taste fresh and homemade, which makes it a perfect side sauce for sandwiches, tenders or fries!
Check out Bobwhite Counter next time you’re in or around New York City! This fried chicken and sides definitely won’t disappoint.
