Barstool Hires Kelly In Vegas – PENN Preps for a Big Football Season

The hiring party has continued at Barstool Sports as they hire another gambler, Kelly In Vegas, as the 2021 NFL season approaches. She announced her new position on Twitter sitting in their New York City office along with a pick for Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

“What is up! Kelly In Vegas here your girl got herself a new job. Barstool Sports baby. Hanging here at the gambling cave with everyone [for Game 6].”

This comes about a week after they hired Megan Makin Money, another gambling personality to use to promote the sportsbook. Penn National Gaming bought a portion of Barstool and rebranded their sports gambling business around the media company. Penn decided to buy a marketing vehicle as opposed to going out and spending tons of money like FanDuel and DraftKings.

Kelly has over a hundred thousand followers on Twitter prior to coming to Barstool, which is more than Megan had in her first week at the new job. Dave Portnoy has hinted multiple times that they will be in more states for this upcoming football season, so the more fans they have the more original content they can create.
