We’re back with some more trade packages for rumored teams. This time it is Andre Igoudala, a for sure trade deadline target for teams. I have 4 teams here that we have Andre Iguodala trade packages for. I say we because I provided the teams, and Garrett Burroughs whipped up some trades and ran them through the trade machine. Let’s see what we got here.

Houston Rockets

The Houston Rockets have been one of the more consistent names that are interested in Andre Igoudala. I won’t lie, I’m not a fan of this trade for the Grizzlies. They do add some solid depth but 2 contracts that don’t expire until next year and one 2 years from now isn’t ideal. I don’t know if I like that. However, it could just be what the Grizzlies prefer. They have a chance to contend for the playoffs this year and this would certainly help them do that. Meanwhile, this helps the Rockets very concerning defensive woes. However, they lose some solid depth here at the same time. Not really a win-win for either team.

Los Angeles Clippers

This one is pretty good for both teams. The Memphis Grizzlies add some solid depth to make a playoff push. While the Clippers keep getting better to try to contend for a championship. The Clippers give up 2 solid players for an even better player. If the Clippers pull this off, they become even better on defense after already being one of the best defensive teams in the NBA. This would almost guarantee an NBA title for them.

Dallas Mavericks

I love this trade more for the Mavericks than I do the Grizzlies. However, Andre Iguodala isn’t even playing for the Grizzlies anyway. So anything they can get for him is still a gain. Still, it’s not as attractive as the Clippers deal above. The good thing in this trade is the expiring contract this year while getting a solid young piece to continue building. For me, the Clippers deal is a better deal. For the Mavericks, it is a dream come true. They would go from a playoff team to a championship contender with this trade. While they need a defensive center and tenacious rebounder, as I mentioned for the Mavericks to be a contender, a wing defender is a must need for this team. Andre Iguodala would definitely fill that role and help the Mavericks tremendously. Not only would he compliment Luka offensively, but it would take a lot of pressure off Luka to defend.

Los Angeles Lakers

This trade isn’t all that bad either. It helps both teams too. Danny Green is your typical 3 and D player, despite being incredibly inconsistent. They do have veteran experience and Danny Green has playoff and championship experience. While some of their offense will frustrate the Grizzlies, there is no denying Greens ability to defend. All in all, this wouldn’t be the worse move in the world by the Grizzlies. The Lakers of course benefit from this trade. As mentioned, these guys are incredibly inconsistent, and the pressure is on for the Lakers to win a championship. Andre Iguodala would definitely help them with some consistency and great defense on the court. He would be a true 3rd option as Kyle Kuzma seemingly is failing at that. He could very well be on his way out of the Lakers too. Time will tell.

These are all of the teams that I have seen rumored to have a significant interest in Andre Iguodala. These Andre Iguodala trade packages by Garrett Burroughs make sense and all work through the trade machine. Let’s all thank him for his help with that. Many more trade machine posts coming up! Stay tuned.
