Alex Cora is putting on a clinic on how not to be a leader, and today we were gifted with yet another example.
“The less you talk about the subject, the better it is for the clubhouse”
Ah yes, just what all great leaders do in moments of total chaos…
Pretend nothing happened.
Alex Cora isn’t just avoiding accountability.
He’s actively teaching a masterclass in how not to lead.
Great managers confront locker room tension head-on. Cora’s response?
“We’re not talking about this.” Not exactly the rallying cry of a winning culture.
No wonder Devers doesn’t respect him. Cora made it clear… he doesn’t want the smoke.
Leadership isn’t optional. He’s ducking it entirely.
Cora’s refusal to address the Devers aftermath is more than passive.
It’s a power vacuum. And it’s how locker rooms rot from the inside.
Bottom line, end of story, Cora has once again taken the path of least resistance. He’s proved over and over again that he’s a trash leader. There’s no hiding the evidence. This happened, and it’s a joke nobody has the stones to talk about it in an educated way.
I’m going to say it again. Children are running the show in Boston, and today was another example.
Side note: Absolutely hilarious, this theme keeps hitting. Again, another insane quote from someone inside the Red Sox building, and the public still doesn’t care what WEEI has to say because they can smell the lies coming from a mile away.
Other side note: Cora has been ejected in back-to-back games. He’s cornered, and everybody knows it. You can smell it on him.
