AEW has stirred up a lot of talk around their video game, AEW: Fight Forever. The game has been highly anticipated since it was announced. We have gotten some updates over the past year with character developments and who is going to be in the game. It seems that some more information has been leaked recently.
It has been reported by Fightful.com, that there was a listing on Amazon UK that noted some new features for the game including new match types, weapons, and multiplayer mode. The listing also stated that forty weapons will be used in the game, daily challenges, and an online multiplayer mode.
There have been some new screenshots of the game that surfaced, showing off some new wrestlers and weapons. The game is listed on Xtralife.com and shows off some screenshots. These screenshots include Kenny Omega, Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho, Thunder Rosa, Abadon, Yuka Sakazaki, and referee Aubrey Edwards. There was also a leak on the potential cover of the game which features Chris Jericho, Jade Cargill, Britt Baker, Jon Moxley, Kenny Omega, and CM Punk.
The game was listed as a combination of old wrestling and the new school AEW moves and finishers. The game was also listed as having a multiplayer mode and unique tag-team matches, that feature team maneuvers with easy commands. According to Fightful.com, Amazon UK had the game listed to be released on December 31, 2022, but reported that AEW is planning to release the game in September. However, Kenny Omega did confirm that AEW: Fight Forever will be published by THQ Nordic.
Although these screenshots of the game are leaked, it gives something for the fans to look forward to. Most of this information has not yet been confirmed by AEW, so it’s unclear if it’s true or not. Also, the screenshots are from developments, and they will likely not be the finished product. So, the finished product will look slightly better. Although the game has been reported to release in the upcoming months, there has been no solid date as of yet. So, be on the lookout for new updates regarding the AEW: Fight Forever game in the near future.
