Adams Requests Trade From Raiders

Wow! How about some bombshell news to shake up your Tuesday! Per Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo, star wide receiver Davante Adams has reportedly told the Raiders that he would prefer to be traded. This is something that could take some time, but it is something to watch.

According to Adam Schefter, the Raiders would “consider” trading Adams, but in exchange for him, they would expect a second-round pick as well as more compensation.

On a recent appearance of Up & Adams, Davante left viewers asking a lot of questions about his future with the Raiders. On the episode, he didn’t deny that his time in the Sin City could be coming to an end.

All of this happened after Raiders Head Coach Antonio Pierce liked an Instagram post made by Sports Illustrated talking about how Adam’s time might be up with the team. Per Micheal Fabiano, the post read, “Do not be surprised if Davante Adams has already played his last snap with the Raiders … He could have played yesterday, but the Raiders are looking to deal him because they think they can get some value for him and they know they’re going nowhere this year.” Antonio Pierce liked this post on his personal Instagram account, which is fishy.

On that same episode of Up & Adams, Davante said that he had not heard anything from Antonio Pierce in regards to the Instagram post. Specifically, he said, “I haven’t heard from him…I haven’t talked to him. I don’t really know exactly what that was about. Social media is a beast, so there’s a lot of people out there that saw it and, you know, wondering what’s going on and people are reaching out. Yeah, I haven’t spoke to him.”
