WWE Rumors: Top Star being ‘discussed’ for release

WWE has one of the largest rosters in wrestling employed, which is both a good and bad thing. On one hand, many wrestlers get to support themselves and others. However, with so many superstars in one company, not everyone gets to wrestle frequently. So WWE has been making annual roster cuts for the past few years. Although many superstars’ dreams come to an end, they get the freedom to wrestle wherever they want. But one of the most popular wrestlers in WWE — Bray Wyatt — is being discussed as a possible release, per a source familiar with the situation.

There were talks about it during a meeting with employees of WWE. However, there have been plans that were talked about for Bray Wyatt involving getting back on television. But if Wyatt rejects them and requests more time off, then releasing him is the only option, per a source familiar with the situation.

Bray Wyatt has always been one of the most riveting characters when he is in WWE. We have seen a few different characters throughout the years. And all of them have been fascinating. However, Wyatt returned to the WWE at last year’s Extreme Rules premium live event.

This was following a string of clues that had fans guessing who was going to return. Upon his return, he feuded with LA Knight and Bobby Lashley. Lashley was his most recent feud, though the storyline fizzled out. It seemed as if they were building toward a match at WrestleMania 39, but ultimately nothing happened.

There were a few different reports going around about what happened with Wyatt; Some said it was because he was dealing with an injury, others said his absence was because WWE was trying to figure out what to do with him.

Now it seems as if he may get released if they can’t agree on something for him to do within the company.
