Brock Holt Dumps On Taco Bell’s World Series Endorsement

Taco Bell is offering free tacos if any player in the 2018 World Series steals a base. Well, it didn’t take long for that to come to fruition. Mookie Betts led off the game with a single and then promptly stole second after the first pitch to the second hitter in the order. Now Taco Bell will live up to their promise offering free tacos on November 1st from 2-6 PM. Red Sox utility man, Brock Holt, did not hold back on his views about Taco Bell.

Here’s what Holt had to say via Mass Live:

“I haven’t eaten Taco Bell in probably 10 years,” Holt said. “So yeah, I’ll probably stay away from the free taco. I’ll let everyone else get it.”

It might be a different story though if it had been a Chipotle Mexican Grill promotion.

“I would have to take my son there,” Holt said. “Because he loves Chipotle. He crushes it. So he’s 2-years-old and he eats a whole Chipotle bowl by himself. So I would have to give him my free Chipotle.

“But yeah, Taco Bell, I’m going to stay away from Taco Bell,” Holt added. “You’ll end up on the toilet all night.”

I support this decision from Holt. There are certain foods that don’t sit well with me either. Any time I go to a hibachi restaurant, I go through those same toilet struggles. I’m dumb enough to keep going. Holt is changing the game. It’s no wonder why the Red Sox won 108 games this year. I’m not a Taco Bell fan either. No need for a professional athlete to eat that trash anyway. Maybe Tom Brady has this Red Sox team on the TB12 method.

That’s Some Cheese – Episode 19 – 4.6.18

I also love the authenticity of this. Too many athletes are robots with the media. Boston is just three games away from their 4th World Series championship since 2004.
