Hill wants to be Chiefs’ ‘worst enemy’ in return to KC

Tyreek Hill’s Dolphins will play the Chiefs in 2023, and Hill will return to Kansas City for the first time since being traded to Miami. Revenge is on the menu for Hill, who wants to become Kansas City’s “worst enemy” that day.

NFL schedule makers haven’t officially announced team schedules, but teams do announce their opponents to be faced after the season, and as it turns out, Miami will travel to Arrowhead Stadium. Hill was prepared and boastful in a podcast.

“Chiefs Kingdom, when the Miami Dolphins come to Arrowhead Stadium this year, guess what we (are) going to do?” Hill said on Sports Radio 810 WHB with Anthony Sherman and Gehrig Dieter. “I hate to say it, man, I hate to throw up the peace sign against y’all. I hate to do it. But guess what, I’m gonna be ya’ll’s worst enemy that day”

Hill’s confidence was palpable. He said these words essentially at max volume, so you know the All-Pro means business. Hill spent the first six seasons of his career with the Chiefs, before being shipped off to Miami after the 2021-22 season.

It was in Miami where Hill reached bounds that he never reached in Kansas City. The superstar speedster posted 1,710 yards and 100.6 yards per game, both career-highs. What Hill didn’t do with Miami was win a playoff game. Everyone remembers his Super Bowl ring that he has with Kansas City back in the 2019-20 season.

Hill mentioned in the podcast that he’s likely finished playing football after the 2025 season when his contract with Miami is up. I don’t know if he’ll stick to his word on that, but it is definitely notable that he’s considering it.

“You better change the signals, I know every signal y’all got,” Hill went on to say.

I don’t think this is a call for beef with Kansas City. In fact, it seems like Hill still has a lot of respect for the Chiefs. It seemed like Hill was actively rooting for his Chiefs when the Dolphins got eliminated. He was extremely active on Twitter during the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory.

All of this is very Tyreek Hill. He’s going to be boastful, he’s going to be ready to face the opponent on the field. He’ll also probably throw up the peace sign once or twice. Hill wants to be the Chiefs’ worst enemy when these two squads match up.
