Will Ospreay Will Return To Former Promotion If They Bring Back Former Indie Star Named In Speaking Out

Will Ospreay is one of the most talented wrestlers on the planet and he isn’t even 30 years old. He has 12 years of in-ring experience and has held numerous different championships in that span. Furthermore, the 29-year-old Will Ospreay has wrestled for countless different promotions in his career, one of them being PROGRESS. Ospreay started wrestling for PROGRESS early on in his career but hasn’t appeared in the company since 2019. He’s a former Tag Team and World Champion for PROGRESS, so fans of the company have been wondering if he’ll ever return. Well, his answer was an interesting one.

Will Ospreay Return To PROGRESS?

After Will Ospreay tweeted a picture of himself with Paul Robinson, a fan asked if he was going to ever return to PROGRESS. Ospreay said, “Bring back robbo and yes I’ll comeback.” Paul Robinson was in a tag team with Will Ospreay called “The Swords Of Essex.” The two teamed together for six years winning a couple of different Tag Team Championships in the process. However, they haven’t teamed together since 2019. Paul Robinson was named in the Speaking Out movement that happened in 2020. Various wrestlers were called out for their alleged abuse of men and women, one of those names was Paul Robinson.

Paul Robinson Released By PROGRESS

In February of 2021, Paul Robinson was released by PROGRESS. This was following the backlash that the company received for using him on the show after the allegations against him. A woman named Jess claimed that she and Paul Robinson allegedly became close during a trip to Germany that Robinson took for wrestling. At the time, she was 16 and Robinson was around 25 years old. Jess claimed that she and Robinson allegedly felt “comfortable” around each other. Furthermore, Jess claimed that Daniel Edler allegedly purchased her a lot of alcoholic drinks.

Also, Jess claimed that she and Robinson allegedly ended up kissing each other that night and they were “inseparable that weekend.” The two would allegedly drift apart and Robinson blocked her on social media after Robinson’s children’s wife allegedly sent Jess some nasty messages. Paul Robinson denied allegations of grooming Jess and supplying her with drinks.
