Former Teammate Believes Jaylen Brown Is ‘Disrespected’

Did the Celtics disrespect Jaylen Brown by including him in potential trade offers for Kevin Durant? One former teammate believes so! That man is the man, myth, and legend himself – Tacko Fall. The former Celtics big man has signed a contract to play overseas this offseason but recently spoke about the kind of guy Brown is.

If you ask Tacko about Jaylen Brown, he says Brown should virtually be untouchable. Fall spoke with Bally Sports’ NBA insider Brandon Robinson to vocalize his support:

“I think Jaylen is very disrespected,” Fall told Robinson. “I think he doesn’t get the praise he deserves sometimes and he’s a great player. Jaylen is nice, and for him, he just gotta keep doing what he’s doing. He’s very focused, he’s very locked in. He knows what he wants to accomplish, and they’re doing well.”

“The outside noise doesn’t really matter. It’s what the organization thinks of him, and I know the organization thinks greatly of him, and I know he loves Boston, so that’s all that matters.”

I’ve made my thoughts pretty clear on the whole Jaylen Brown situation. He’s off the table in any trade. If the Celtics become serious players for KD, your offer starts with Al Horford. Bottom line. End of story. It’s insane Brown was ever considered to be included in those talks while making half the salary and being 10 years younger.

I still can’t fathom that anybody disagrees with this.

The Celtics may be one piece away (that starts with replacing Al Horford) but it’s hard to feel bad about their chances. The Malcolm Brogdon and Danilo Gallinari additions help (if they’re actually healthy). That parenthesis part remains to be seen.

Brown, 25, should be a prime candidate to reach his first All-Star appearance this season. The former third overall pick behind Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram has emerged as the Celtics’ other superstar on the team that just went to the Finals. In reality, he *might* be Boston’s best player.

Will the Celtics improve their win title from a year ago? See what Matt Hanifan has to say.

The story of Jaylen Brown is far from finished. Imagine how good Brown will be when he actually figures out how to dribble? This past season, Brown averaged 23.6 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game.

Side Note: Thus far, it appears Brown loves being with the Celtics. Let’s hope they don’t find a way to further botch this relationship.
