I own Josh Winckowski now, right? Are those the rules? Maybe?
Add him to the list. Just remember this is just the beginning of our journey here at Vendetta. It’s storytime. Buckle in because this is a good one.
Last week I wrote a post about how Josh Winckowski stinks. If you use your eyeballs, this one isn’t hard to see. There is no swing-and-miss stuff. The sinker may as well be called a beach ball waiting to get launched. No strikeouts. The Slider is above average and everything else is a meatball waiting to be hit 400 feet. It’s about as obvious as it gets. The Andrew Benintendi deal was always a failed trade.
Wait for it…
Winckowski retweets it.
I didn’t really know what to do with the information that Winckowski shared the post. I was just going to let it rock until something drastic happened.
Fast-forward to this week. Winckowski gets called back up after Nathan Eovaldi was placed on the IL. Winckowski was lucky enough to get the start against the Blue Jays and got HAMMERED. Guy was so bad he got pulled in the third inning with the bases juiced while already giving up three runs.
Now, Austin Davis didn’t do him any favors but let’s be honest; there is a very real alternate universe out there where Winckowski gives up 15 runs. I’m not sure he would have gotten a dog out trying to swing a bat with his/her teeth. A Tee-Ball team filled with children in kindergarten would have scored at least three runs.
If you want the official box score from the game today, here you go.
I can’t believe Chaim Bloom traded for this bum. Not only that, but he somehow doubles down on two bums in the same trade also acquiring Franchy Cordero. It’s insane that the team hasn’t called me to at least be a consultant because he’s LOST. If you missed my recent video on Bloom, check it out here!
