Check Out This Thor: Love & Thunder Special Edition Xbox Series X

Special edition consoles or themed consoles are a fun way for gamers to make their gaming setups look cooler and more personal. There are great console designs out there for people to buy, which makes sense considering gamers have to look at their console every day so they might as well look unique. A new special edition console that is dropping is the new Thor: Love & Thunder Xbox Series X.

The Xbox Series X is looking a little different after a bit of love and thunder.

Thor: Love & Thunder is the newest Marvel movie and released on July 8, 2022. The special edition box is based on Thor’s iconic hammer Mjolnir, which is the Norse god’s main weapon in the first few Thor movies and Avengers movies. Marvel is one of the most popular franchises across all types of media so this collaboration between the MCU and Microsoft makes sense.

One of the last times Xbox did a special edition console was the Xbox Series X Halo Infinite bundle. The bundle included an awesome black and gold futuristic design with the top of the Xbox Series X mimicking a galaxy, which is in line for a Halo game. Xbox itself does not do a lot of themed consoles or special editions but there are a multitude of fan-created themed consoles. The majority of the market is filled with fan creations and designs.

The sweepstakes to get the new Xbox and Thor collaboration ends July 21, 2022. So, if fans truly want Mjolnir, they will have to go to the Xbox website and follow all the rules to enter. If they win, they will have one of the strongest weapons in the Marvel universe as their gaming console.

Special Edition Xbox Controllers

Xbox controllers have a host of special editions, and the overall customization of these controllers is a frequent occurrence in the gaming community. There is an Xbox design lab that allows gamers to completely customize their controller with the style and accessories they desire. However, there are still some great Xbox-designed special edition controllers, and I will name a few of those themed controllers.

One of the most recent Xbox controller special editions was the new PRIDE controller. It consists of multiple different pride flags that represent the LGBTQIA+ community and the end product is an extremely colorful and vivid controller. Another interesting design was the 20th Anniversary Special Edition controller which reflected a sleek and stylish look. It was black and green with the top of the controller being translucent so the inside of the controller can be visible, which is a style of controller that I have always liked.

There are plenty of interesting designs and accessories that gamers can get for their controllers and I think all gamers should look into upgrading their Xbox controllers.
