The St. Louis Rams enter week 15 with a disappointing record of 5-8, nevertheless the organization is expected to retain head coach Jeff Fisher.

NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport has learned on Thursday that all indications suggest that both coach Jeff Fisher and general manager Les Snead are expected back for the 2016 season.

Since joining the Rams in 2012 both Snead and Fisher have compiled a record of 25-35-1. With a potential move to LA on the horizon perhaps the organization felt it was not the proper time to bring in a set of new faces.

The news on Fisher should come as little surprise as he is sort of know as a guy well liked in the industry. After all he did spend 16 years with the Titans despite his known struggles towards the end of his tenure. Fisher, an offensive guru was unable to tap into Nick Foles the same way Chip Kelly was a year ago. St. Louis will likely be making a quarterback change to accommodate the return of Fisher in 2016.

While GM Les Snead made the trade of the century stealing multiple first round picks in the RG3 trade, he was unable to capitalize on Washington’s mistake. Greg Robinson is an example of that who Snead selected 2nd in the 2014 NFL Draft passing on players such as Odell Beckham Jr., Anthony Barr, and Khalil Mack for a player who looks like an overvalued guard at this point. With another mediocre Rams season in store the 2016 offseason will be a crucial one for turning around this franchise.
