The Minnesota will not be 100 percent heading into Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers. As the division race heats up, the Vikings will be without Sam Bradford and Stefon Diggs. Minnesota sits 1 game out of first behind the Packers at 3-2. If they plan on taking over first place, they will have to do so with their starting quarterback and wide receiver.

Head Coach Mike Zimmer made the announcement Friday during a presser:

Bradford appeared to re-injure himself Monday night when he was unable to finish the game against the Bears. Bradford had missed all but one game with knee issues that have plagued his season. Case Keenum will get the start again who has done a nice job in relief. Keenum has thrown four touchdowns compared to 0 interceptions in four games. It will be interesting what transpires when Teddy Bridgewater is ready to be activated off of the P.U.P. list.

Diggs is the Vikings most reliable receiver hauling in four touchdowns on the season. The second-year pro has been a revelation since being drafted in the 5th round from Maryland a year ago. Michael Floyd, Adam Thielen, and Jarius Wright figure to get more snaps with Diggs out.
