Joy Taylor Given Solo Show On Fox Sports Radio

Joy Taylor is officially moving up in the sports media world. Most recognize Joy for her work on Colin Cowherd’s show “The Herd” on Fox Sports 1. Taylor has now been given her own solo show on Fox Sports Radio. Taylor will quite literally now be working 7 days a week with her new schedule. Boss moves only by Joy.

VIA Front Office Sports:

“Joy Tayor is landing her own solo show on Fox Sports Radio, Front Office Sports has learned.

Her new show will be announced Thursday before kickoff of the NFL’s 2021 season. One of the key guests for her premiere this Saturday, Sept. 11, will be her brother Jason Taylor, the former Miami Dolphins star and Hall of Famer.

“I will get his thoughts on the first week. And obviously react to (the season-opening game) Thursday with the Cowboys and Bucs playing,” Taylor told FOS in an interview. “Who better to talk to than a first ballot [Pro Football] Hall of Famer, right?”

“The Joy Taylor Show” will air weekly on Saturdays (2 p.m. to 4 p.m. ET). She said it will delve deeply into NFL and college football topics, she said.

As one of the few solo female sports radio hosts in the country, Taylor also wants to book plenty of female guests.”

Taylor worked her way up the ranks while working in Miami. Of course, Joy’s brother Jason played for the Dolphins for a long term. Taylor has been with Fox Sports for around five years. The story goes that Taylor has always considered herself an opinionist despite being in a limited role for Undisputed and The Herd.

Let’s be honest; sitting there while listening to Skip Bayless, Shannon Sharpe, and Cowherd five days a week without really being able to get a word in, Taylor has earned this opportunity. I couldn’t do what she did and stay quiet. Taylor is a hard worker and now will be given the chance to shine on her own.
