Frazier will serve under rookie head coach Sean McDermott forming an interesting pairing. The duo will try to improve a defense previously ran by Rex Ryan in 2016. Both McDermott and Frazier worked together under Andy Reid in Philadelphia from 1992-2002.
Frazier, 57, has defensive coordinating experience with Bengals, Vikings, and Buccaneers. He also was the head coach of the Vikings from 2011-2013. His hiring seems like a logical choice given his coaching track record.
Buffalo will now switch from a 3-4 defense to a 4-3 look in 2017.
