Tottenham Hotspurs Will Not Win, Despite What Harry Kane, Says

Spurs are winning squat

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane believes they can do something special this season. Unless that is a two for one special at Nando’s, I’m sorry he is widely mistaken. Note for our American readers: Nando’s is a South African restaurant chain specializing in Portuguese-African food and has become popular in England. The simple fact is Spurs are winning squat.

I can’t believe I even have to say it, but let’s be realistic here. Tottenham couldn’t even beat West Ham United, and that was after they were 3-0 up with ten minutes to play. Sure they had a fantastic 6-1 victory over ten-man Manchester United, but have you seen the Red Devils lately!?! Not exactly high praise!

I like Harry Kane as a player. Apart from a short stint with the Watford academy, he also seems to be a smart lad (everybody makes mistakes, I suppose), but if he’s dreaming of winning Premier League titles, I have news for him. You need to move!

Kane is a London lad and grew up a Spurs fan, but he deserves so much better. Even his idol Teddy Sheringham left the Spurs because he wanted to win things. If Kane wants that to happen, he needs to make the hard decision and go.

He’s been linked with United numerous times and would be a great fit. Unfortunately, he wouldn’t be able to fix United’s defensive woes, which will continue to hinder them. The best fit, however, might be the other side of Manchester.

Joining Manchester City would give Kane the chance to challenge for honors. It would also provide City with a much-needed replacement for the aging Sergio Aguero. It’s a win-win.

I’m sure Premier League Champions Liverpool would also be interested, as would most top European clubs. At 27-years-old, now is the time for Kane to consider that move seriously. He might be saying “we believe” in public, but deep down, he has to know Spurs are winning squat.
