John Ross Requests A Trade

Bengals WR John Ross has requested a trade, after not receiving enough playing time.

#Bengals’ WR John Ross recently asked the team to trade him, per @MikeGarafolo. He’s been frustrated with his lack of playing time. The former first-round pick has been active for only 3 games this season and has just 2 receptions for 17 yards.

He only played one snap in the Bengals game against the Colts in Week 6. This was a make or break year for John Ross, after the Bengals declined his fifth-year option, on his rookie deal, but he hasn’t been able to get much playing time. He is looking for a fresh start with a new team, he has shown flashes of potential, but his career has been riddled with injuries, but the former first round pick, is one of the fastest players in the league. He is famous for running the fastest the 40-yard dash in NFL history, at a time of 4.22 seconds. 

The trade deadline is two weeks away, so Cincinnati has some time to potentially work out a deal for WR John Ross.
