UFC 315 is not a sensational pay-per-view event when looking through an entertainment lens. The betting aspect of the event forced betters to get strategic, but there is value on the board. Here are three of the best bets available for UFC 315.
*All odds are taken from DraftKings and are accurate as of 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2025.*
The UFC 315 co-main event features a women’s flyweight title fight between Manon Fiorot and Valentina Shevchenko. The betting lines have Fiorot lines as a -125 favorite while Shevchenko is a +105 underdog. The betting side in this matchup is Fiorot.
At this point in Shevcehnko’s career, I am not optimistic about her ability to compete with the best in the world. The 37-year-old has shown noticeable physical regression in her most recent fights. The most obvious drop has been her speed. That is not great considering Fiorot is one of the biggest and most physical fighters in the weight class. The most realistic path to victory for Shevchenko would be to use her speed to outland Fiorot. That is much less probable considering her speed dip.
Fiorot’s defensive grappling will also be a serious obstacle for Shevchenko. In the Alexa Grasso trilogy, Shevchenko used her offensive wrestling to win multiple rounds. That will not be easy to accomplish against Fiorot. Her physical size and technical grappling make her a challenge to control in the grappling realm. Instead, Shevchenko’s offensive grappling attempts may create clinch exchanges. In that realm, Fiorot should dominate position and land knees.
In my opinion, a lot of this fight will take place at range. In those exchanges, I trust Fiorot to use her length to outland Shevchenko. Plus, her aforementioned clinch advantage will help her win rounds and deal damage.
The -125 pricetag on Fiorot makes her a great bet for UFC 315. The champion has shown serious regression and the challenger has established herself as a great talent.
The UFC 315 main card showcases a women’s flyweight bout between Natalia Silva and Alexa Grasso. The betting lines are set with Silva as a -258 favorite while Grasso is a +210 underdog. Although, the best value on the fight is for Silva to cover the -3.5 point spread at +100.
Silva has proven herself as a strong talent in the women’s flyweight division and is getting a step up in competition to fight Alexa Grasso. The rising contender can present the former champion with serious issues. Silva is a quick striker with strong movement and footwork. This should allow her to dictate when exchanges take place. This is dangerous because she also has a wide array of striking tools.
A good amount of the value of Silva’s point spread is dependent on her ability to win all three rounds. Although, her finish upside should not be undersold. Despite not having elite power, she does land a ton of strikes. That gives her the ability to get an attritional finish. Plus, her kick-heavy approach can help create finishes in the absence of powerful hands.
It is a challenger to bet Silva as a massive moneyline favorite. Although, taking her to cover the spread provides much more of a return. That makes it a solid bet for UFC 315.
The final bet for UFC 315 is another spread in the women’s flyweight division. Jasmine Jasudavicius is currently -135 to cover the -3.5-point spread against Jessica Andrade. That is a much more appealing way to play the fight in contrast to her -325 moneyline.
Jasudavicius has a clear path to dominating in this fight. The disparities in size and grappling are massive. It should be relatively easy for Jasudavicius to land takedowns, control in the top position, and work to finish.
Andrade’s grappling has been a serious issue when competing at 125 pounds. That is especially true when taking on high-level grapplers.
At -135, Jasudavicius’ point spread is a great bet for UFC 315. A dominant victory is undoubtedly the most probable path to victory.
