2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs Preview: Carolina Hurricanes vs. Washington Capitals
The last time I put one of these shorts out, I was right on the money. We’re going to try to replicate that success in predicting the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs preview between the Carolina Hurricanes and Washington Capitals.
Feel free to comment and send in that feedback. It’s always welcome. With that said, I’m going with the Caps in six. I just think Tom Wilson is going to be such a bully, and the Canes still haven’t fixed their fatal flaw. They don’t have enough top-end game-breaking talent, and we have no idea what we’re getting from Freddie Andersen. If the Canes win, Sebastian Aho is going to have to go Superman mode and I just don’t think he’s enough.
At some point, people need to start taking the Caps seriously, and it probably starts with winning this series.
