The NHL Hitz Video Game Needs To Make A Comeback

Can we just have an honest conversation about something? The NHL video game sucks. It’s awful. I’m convinced that nobody likes this game. It’s way too complicated. The analog stick is impossible to navigate. It acts like you’re supposed to pull off these weird analog stick moves that nobody enjoys. The game just sucks and I can’t believe anybody buys it. What really needs to be talked about is that NHL Hitz needs to make a comeback.

Does anybody remember this game? This was peak video game life. Players would catch on literal fire if they scored enough goals. Fighting was encouraged and they just kept fighting to the point where it was a fight to the death. They just kept fighting until one of the players got knocked out of the game entirely.

It was three vs. three just like in OT in real life. It was easy to play and easy to figure out. There will never be a hockey video game that replicates the magic this series had.

The same thing could be said for MLB Hitz. God that game was so good. Was there anything better than being able to punch a runner in the face so many times that he falls off second base and gets called out? Just so good. I just won’t complain about it because MLB the Show is at least a respectable game. I don’t care what anybody says. The NHL video game is a travesty and brings absolutely nothing to the table.
