Power Rankings: Angriest NBA Fan Bases After Celtics Raise Banner 18

The Boston Celtics are NBA Champions! Banner 18 has been raised. I just didn’t realize how bitter the rest of the NBA fan bases would be. Jealously is a stinky scent and these C’s aren’t going anywhere. Now that the Celtics have won the title, let’s identify the haters and rank the angriest fan bases.

*Honorable Mention: Chickster and the rest of the haters in the Vendetta Slack.

You would think the Vendetta army would be happy for me. They’re not led by the Chickster who feeds all of them Haterade. Spurs fan out here rooting for his rival because he doesn’t want to see me happy. Sad isn’t it?

I thought about putting the Knicks but they weirdly have this beef with them because Jalen Brunson came from Dallas and Kyrie snubbed them. I genuinely think some of them are happy for Kristaps Porzingis so they just miss the cut.

5: Miami Heat

The Heat got the best of Boston last year and you know Pat Riley is pissed. He won’t sleep tonight. Worse yet, they don’t really know what to do with Jimmy Butler and they’re another move away on top of them from even getting close to beating them again.

4: Denver Nuggets

You have to feel for the Nuggets. They were NBA champs and then overnight couldn’t even beat up on light work Gobert. Maybe they will have the courage to make the Finals next year. They only have themselves to blame after Calvin Booth did nothing to improve the team at the deadline. As long as Jokic is on the roster, the fans are going to be bitter if they come up short and they have a right to feel that way.

3: Philadelphia 76ers

The trade that Danny Ainge pulled off should never be forgotten. Joel Embiid has never made it to the Conference Finals. Philly fans have to be sick. I almost feel bad for them.

2: Los Angeles Lakers

The Celtics have more titles than the Lakers again. Mic drop? Boston is the most successful NBA franchise. Any response, Laker fans?

1: Milwaukee Bucks

Thank you, Milwaukee.
