UFC Vegas 91 Best Bets

UFC Vegas 91 Bets Preview
UFC Vegas 91 is not the best fight card the UFC has produced, but it has a small handful of solid betting opportunities. (Nathan Ray Seebeck-USA TODAY Sports)

UFC Vegas 91 Best Bets

The UFC is back in the Apex with a subpar fight night event. The card should have some entertaining fights, but it is not the best from a betting perspective. Still, there are a few spots that could make a solid bet.

*All odds are taken from DraftKings and are accurate as of 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 26.*

Karine Silva ITD +130

The first bet for UFC Vegas 91 is for Karine Silva to finish Ariane Lipski. That prop is currently lined at +130. On the money line, Silva is lined as a -162 favorite while Lipski is a +130 underdog.

This play is fairly straightforward. Silva is a -162 favorite and her win condition revolves around finding a finish. On the feet, she has good power in her hands. In grappling exchanges, she has sensational submission skills. In the flaws, she does not win minutes and will likely struggle late in fights.

This is not a slam-dunk bet in any fashion. That said, it is a strong way to get a -162 favorite at a much better price tag. I would be surprised if Silva finds a way to find a finish. At +130, it is a strong bet for UFC Vegas 91.

Jonathan Pearce -148

The second bet for UFC Vegas 91 is for Jonathan Pearce to beat David Onama. Pearce is currently a -148 favorite while Onama is a +124 underdog.

This is a pretty simple fight. Pearce has a clear path to victory with his relentless grappling and pace. Onama has the power and explosiveness to end this fight early. I favor Pearce with those outcomes in mind. Onama is a strong striker, but his grappling pace and grappling defense are concerning. If Pearce can land a few takedowns in the first rounds, the later rounds should be smooth.

It is hard to wrong betting on a fighter with a cardio and grappling advantage. At -148, the price is appealing as well. That makes Pearce one of the best bets for UFC Vegas 91.

Maheshate Hayisaer KO +110

The final bet for UFC Vegas 91 is for Maheshate Hayisaer to knock out Gabriel Benitez. Hayisaer is a -245 favorite and his knockout prop sits at +110.

This a fight between a powerful young striker and an aging fighter that has been finished on multiple occasions. Hayisaer is big for the lightweight division and has a lot of power. Benitez has seen his durability drop in recent outings and has been knocked out in four of his seven UFC losses. This matchup greatly favors the young striker with power.

Hayisaer getting a knockout victory is one of the best bets for UFC Vegas 91.
