Draft Busters War Room 2024: The New England Patriots
Welcome back to the official Draft Busters War Room for the 2024 NFL Draft. Trey Daubert already hates our series so you know it must be somewhat good. All eyes are on the New England Patriots and which QB they take in the 3rd overall pick. Well, if they are smart enough to take a QB overall at 3 that is. They should have their choice of QB between Drake Maye or Jayden Daniels. Caleb Williams being drafted in the top 2 picks is a foregone conclusion and 99.9% that he’s being chosen 1st overall. However, either is a nice consolation prize. I can also see a scenario where they choose JJ McCarthy. Not what I would do at 3rd overall but still. The AFC East is up for grabs for 3 teams, I think it’s the Jets to lose, but this Patriots lacks a lot of talent to contend at this moment. Let’s see if Draft Busters can get this New England team on the right track.
The current needs for the Patriots are as follows: everything. The most important needs for them are QB, OT, and WR though. They have most of their picks in the draft so that will be beneficial, but we will to try to get them more picks as the episode goes on. Here’s their full list below.

- Round 2: No. 34
- Round 3: No. 68
- Round 4: No. 103
- Round 5: No. 137
- Round 6: No. 180
- Round 6: No. 193 (from Jacksonville)
- Round 7: No. 231 (from Chicago)
Draft Busters did what they could and acted in what they thought was the right thing to do for the New England Patriots. The lack of talent the Patriots have is glaring and getting as much talent as we can is the right move for New England to get this team on track. The New England Patriots War Room starts now.
