Draft Busters War Room 2024: The Washington Commanders

Welcome back to the official Draft Busters War Room for the 2024 NFL Draft. Trey Daubert already hates our series so you know it must be somewhat good. All eyes are on the Washington Commanders and which QB they take in the 2nd overall pick. Now, they have a chance to get one of the most generational prospects of all time in Caleb Williams, but we’re not sure that he drops to 2nd overall. The NFC East is a weird division, but this team lacks a lot of talent to contend at this moment. Let’s see if Draft Busters can get this Washington Commanders team on the right track.

The current needs for the Commanders are as follows: everything. The most important needs for them are QB, OT, EDGE, and secondary. They have 5 picks in the first 100 picks of the NFL 2024 draft so that’s a great starting point. Here’s their full list below.

  • Round 1: No. 2 overall
  • Round 2: No. 36
  • Round 2: No. 40 (from Chicago)
  • Round 3: No. 67
  • Round 3: No. 78 (from Seattle)
  • Round 3: No. 100 (from San Francisco)
  • Round 5: No. 139
  • Round 5: No. 152 (from Seattle)
  • Round 7: No. 222

While there is some controversy in this episode, Draft Busters did act in what they thought was the right thing to do for the Commanders. The lack of talent the Commanders have is glaring and getting as much talent as we can is the right move for the Commanders to get this team on track. The Washington Commanders War Room starts now. Will it work out or will it bite us in the ass? Watch the episode to find out!
